1:00 AM - 4:00 PM

7 July 2024

Location

64 Canns Rd., Bedfordale WA 6112

JULY 7, 9am-12am.

In this Qi Gong workshop, we focus on the principle of balance, a core tenet of this ancient practice. Our aim is to harmonize the energies of Yin and Yang within ourselves, adapting to life's ever-changing conditions mentally and physically.

Central to our approach is the concept of the neutral point between Yin and Yang, which serves as a reference for our movements. I teach a movement template that guides practitioners to find this balance, enabling them to induce a Yin body state at will. This state is characterized by a calm mind, relaxed body, and vital energy.

In our daily lives, our nervous systems work tirelessly to maintain homeostasis, a process of self-regulation that ensures stability amid external changes. The key to this resilience lies in our ability to adapt and recover from stressors.

Qi Gong offers a natural path to strengthen both mental and physical resilience. Through slow, deliberate movements and mindful breathing, practitioners engage in a form of moving meditation. This practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system, fostering relaxation and supporting the body's innate healing mechanisms—what we call a Yin body state.

By integrating ancient wisdom with modern understanding of neurophysiology, our workshop empowers individuals to cultivate resilience, find balance, and thrive in the face of life's challenges.
